Alexander Bakes is an Associate in the New York office of GRSM. He focuses his practice on commercial civil litigation in New York and New Jersey’s federal and state courts. Alexander represents a diverse range of clients, including private organizations, federal credit unions and national franchises, in class actions and individual matters. He has experience defending large product liability class actions, franchisor-franchisee disputes and even personal injury lawsuits. He also has experience handling all stages of litigation and arbitration.
Alexander received his undergraduate degree from Wesleyan University with a major in Economics in 2016. He then graduated from the University of California-Los Angeles School of Law in 2021. While in law school, Alexander worked for two years as a research assistant to various professors with a focus on assisting a particular professor to write a book on the history of the juvenile justice system in the United States.
