Benjamin M. Virgin is an Associate attorney in the Charleston office of GRSM and a member of the Commercial Litigation, Insurance, and Construction practice groups. He received his undergraduate degree from West Virginia University and his Juris Doctorate from Suffolk University Law School. While in law school, Benjamin was a member of the Intellectual Property and Entrepreneurship Clinic. Following graduation, Benjamin clerked for Judge Patrick J. Arre in the Superior Court, Criminal Division of Hudson County, New Jersey. He was admitted to practice in New York in 2020 and South Carolina in 2021.
Prior to joining GRSM, Benjamin practiced at a boutique litigation firm in Charleston where he primarily handled insurance defense matters, construction disputes, and landlord-tenant matters. When not in the office, Benjamin can be found golfing, walking his dog Cheddar, and rooting for the West Virginia Mountaineers.
