Benjamin W. O’Grady is a Partner in the Boston office of GRSM. He focuses his practice on commercial and civil litigation concerning complex business, construction, environmental, and drug and medical device matters.
Benjamin has a broad range of litigation experience, and has represented clients in both state and federal courts. Prior to joining GRSM, Benjamin was an Environmental Litigation Associate at a mid-sized law firm in Boston where he served as first chair in two jury trials, drafted appellate briefs to the Massachusetts Appeals Court and successfully argued numerous discovery and dispositive motions. In addition, Benjamin has extensive experience representing clients before state administrative bodies and local town permitting authorities.
While at Georgetown, Benjamin worked as a law clerk at the Department of Justice in the Environment and Natural Resources Division, working on litigation arising under federal environmental statutes and constitutional issues involving Native American tribes. In addition, Benjamin also served as a law clerk at the National Labor Relations Board in the Appellate and Supreme Court Litigation Section in Washington D.C. and the Federal Maritime Commission in the office of FMC Commissioner William P. Doyle.
