Caitlyn M. Kelly is an Associate in the Hartford office of GRSM. She is a member of the Product & General Liability, Commercial Litigation, Employment Law, Environmental/Toxic Tort, and Real Estate practice groups.
Caitlyn practices in the area of commercial litigation, trying multi-party and complex claims in substantive areas of commercial law, including but not limited to antitrust, banking and finance, bankruptcy, restructuring and creditor’s rights, class action, and consumer protection litigation.
In her employment litigation practice, Caitlyn represents management in employment disputes in state and federal court, both at the trial and appellate levels, and before federal and state administrative agencies such as the EEOC, the NLRB, the Department of Fair Employment & Housing, the Department of Labor, and the Department of Industrial Relations.
Caitlyn also handles toxic tort matters, defending manufacturers, suppliers, and sellers against claims and issues involving anything that was or was allegedly discharged, leaked, spilled or mishandled; inhaled, ingested or otherwise absorbed; a contamination of the air, ground or water; a pathogen to which someone was exposed; or any other chemical or environmental cause of damage or disease.
Additionally, Caitlyn handles real estate matters, including Extended Stay matters that typically involve breach of lease disputes, non-payment and holdover evictions, as well as the defense of actions brought under the Americans with Disabilities Act.
