Colleen L. Foster is an Associate in the Chicago office of GRSM. Colleen's practice focuses primarily on insurance coverage, litigation, and cyber security & data privacy matters. She regularly provides counsel to clients on issues relating to such matters and works diligently to obtain the best possible resolution for her clients. Colleen's clients include both domestic and international insurers involved in complex insurance disputes, and her skills and knowledge pertain to primary and excess commercial general liability policies, property policies, director and officer liability policies, professional liability policies, commercial crime policies, cyber security policies, and data breach policies.
Prior to joining GRSM, Colleen gained experience handling various complex coverage and liability matters at Chicago based defense firms. Colleen has experience litigating in both state and federal courts.
Colleen earned her J.D., cum laude, from Loyola University of Chicago, School of Law. During her time at Loyola, Colleen was awarded three CALI Awards, participated as a team member and Captain of the Civil Litigation Mock Trial Team, and later served as Publicity Director for the Mock Trial Board. To date, Colleen continues to teach at Loyola as an Adjunct Professor.
