Biography

Elizabeth A. Thomasian is a Partner in the Fresno office of GRSM and a member of the Product & General Liability practice group. She handles a wide range of personal injury and property damage cases, including premises liability, construction defect, habitability, and fire loss cases. Located in the Central Valley, a large portion of her practice also consists of agriculturally-based litigation, including crop loss, tractor and equipment-related accidents, big rig accidents, and animal loss cases, such as people being harmed by horses or cattle.

Elizabeth attended San Joaquin College of Law in Clovis, California. During law school, she worked for three years as a certified law clerk at a private criminal defense firm and gained experience defending misdemeanor and felony cases. She was published in the San Joaquin Agricultural Law Review, where she authored a comment scrutinizing the federal law protecting wild horses and burros. She gained inspiration for the topic of her article when she adopted her own Bureau of Land Management mustang in 2010 and saw the deficiencies of the government program and the thousands of horses needing homes.

Prior to joining GRSM, she worked for a boutique civil litigation law firm in Fresno, California where she handled a variety of personal injury and property damage matters.
