Evan Armstrong is a Senior Counsel in the San Diego office of GRSM. He represents employers in disputes involving wage and hour, wrongful termination, retaliation, harassment, and discrimination claims. His practice includes defending employers in California state and federal courts, and before state and federal agencies such as the California Civil Rights Department (CRD), the Division of Labor Standards Enforcement (DLSE), and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC).
Evan also has experience litigating class actions and “Private Attorneys General Act” (PAGA) lawsuits that involve Labor Code and Wage Order violations, such as failure to provide meal and rest periods, unpaid overtime, failure to reimburse employees’ business expenses, and unfair business practices.
In addition to litigation, Evan advises clients on various employment-related issues and assists businesses with federal and California law compliance, including the development and implementation of employee policies and procedures.
