Gloria Cannon is a member of the Commercial Litigation and Government Contracts practice groups representing clients in complex litigation matters, including employment and contracting disputes. Gloria also handles claims on behalf of government contractors in federal court and administrative forums, such as the Government Accountability Office.
Prior to joining GRSM, Gloria was an associate attorney at a personal injury litigation firm. During this time, she worked on all phases of litigation from discovery through trial. Throughout law school, she also worked as a law clerk for a civil litigation firm in Arlington, Virginia, where she gained valuable experience with business litigation matters.
Gloria graduated from The University of the District of Columbia School of Law with high honors. During law school, she worked on housing association matters in the Community Development Legal Clinic and gained experience with Whistleblower Protection Act claims through an externship with the Government Accountability Project. While in undergraduate school at The George Washington University, Gloria interned with The Institute for Justice where she wrote an op-ed on recidivism that was published in the Washington Times.
