Biography

Hannah Brown Goehring is a Partner in the Denver office of GRSM and is a member of the Intellectual Property practice group.  

Her expertise spans both intellectual property prosecution and litigation, with a focus on trademark, trade secret, and copyright matters. Hannah has experience in all phases of litigation in both state courts and federal courts around the country, as well as at the federal appellate level.  Her extensive experience encompasses various phases of litigation, showcasing her prowess in resolving disputes effectively. Hannah has helped clients resolve trademark infringement, copyright infringement, and false advertising occurring on the Internet via infringement reports, UDRP actions, and DMCA takedowns. Hannah is a frequently published author on various intellectual property issues and is specifically interested in how ever-changing technology can impact intellectual property laws.

Hannah is also a member of the Commercial Litigation practice group, where she represents clients sued for various complex business-related matters in both state and federal court.  Hannah defends clients in matters concerning alleged defamation and other torts, breach of contract, fraud, and antitrust violations. Covering all bases, Hannah has an expensive client portfolio, ranging from individuals, small businesses, or large corporations, representing them on an individual or class action basis.

Hannah has substantial experience and knowledge of the federal courts. Prior to joining GRSM, Hannah was a law clerk for two federal court judges in San Diego California, the Honorable Janis Sammartino and the Honorable Cynthia Bashant.

During law school, Hannah externed for the Honorable Marilyn Huff in the United States District Court for the Southern District of California and for the Honorable M. Margaret McKeown in the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.  She also was a comments editor of the San Diego Law Review and competed in the Saul Lefkowitz Moot Court Tournament.
