Jeffrey Camhi is a Partner in the firm’s New York office, where he focuses his practice in the areas of labor, employment, sports and entertainment. Jeffrey has significant experience representing clients in high-stakes litigations and arbitrations. He regularly represents sports agencies, agents, and professional athletes in arbitrations across the country and has obtained favorable decisions in several arbitrations that he has co-chaired. Jeffrey has also handled disciplinary proceedings for professional athletes, including offenses for performance enhancing drugs and drugs of abuse. Additionally, he works on transactional matters for professional athletes and agencies in employment and endorsement agreements.
Jeffrey has significant experience representing employers against claims of discrimination, sexual harassment, retaliation, wage & hour violations and breaches of contract. He handles claims in state and federal courts across New York and before government agencies at all levels, including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commissions, New York State Division of Human Rights and the New York City Commission on Human Rights.
Jeffrey graduated from Dartmouth College in 2007, receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Comparative Literature. He earned a master’s degree in Publishing from New York University in 2009, before earning his law degree from the Georgetown University Law Center in 2012.
