Representative Experience
- Represented a publicly traded long term care company in age, gender and disability discrimination cases in the Eastern, Middle and Western Districts of Pennsylvania.
- Represented a national multi-billion dollar company in four separate class action suits in multidistrict litigation in the Eastern District of Louisiana arising out of claims stemming from alleged defective Chinese drywall.
- Protected the business interests of a national multi-billion dollar company by successfully enforcing a non-compete agreement against a former key employee.
- Successfully represented a national textile services company before the Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania. The court found that the company had met its burden of proving work availability; thereby, reducing the benefits owed to the employee and greatly diminishing the company’s exposure.
- Represented one of North America’s largest manufacturers of transportation, construction and industrial products in various employment-related matters.
- Counseled a large, long-term healthcare provider on wage payment and collection laws.
- Procured favorable results for a foundry in Eastern Pennsylvania that faced a flood of employment claims as the result of a business slowdown.
- Received favorable results in representing a railcar manufacturer that faced significant exposure stemming from occupational disease claims filed by prior employees.
- Served as a member of a team responsible for successful negotiation of an insurance coverage dispute on behalf of an international steel company.
- Served as a member of a team responsible for litigating malpractice and professional liability matters on behalf of a national nursing home provider.
