Biography

Jessica Y. Lee is Senior Counsel in the Employment Practice Group in the Sacramento Office of GRSM.  Jessica has extensive experience representing businesses and management in all aspects of labor and employment disputes.  This includes workplace harassment, discrimination, wrongful termination, whistleblower claims, unfair labor practices, and wage and hour.  Jessica represents employers in state and federal court, both at the trial and appellate levels, as well as before administrative agencies.  Her employment practice spans numerous industries including technology, health care, hospitality, and entertainment.  

In addition to litigation, Jessica routinely counsels employers on compliance in various areas, including hiring practices, discipline, accommodations, severances, and reductions in the workplace.  She also assists businesses with workplace investigations, discrimination and harassment prevention trainings, negotiating separation agreements, and employee handbooks, policies, and procedures. 

Prior to joining GRSM, Jessica was a partner at a Los Angeles firm representing public entities and Fortune 500 companies in employment, toxic tort, and general liability matters.  Throughout her career, Jessica has successfully represented major film studios and some of the largest hotel chains in significant exposure and high-profile cases.  Her experience includes litigating complex multi-jurisdiction cases, prevailing on numerous summary judgment motions, and trial. 

Outside of her legal practice, Jessica enjoys yoga, volunteering, and traveling.
