Katherine Kust is a partner in the Denver office of GRSM. Katherine focuses her practice in the areas of insurance with an emphasis on bad faith, commercial and construction litigation. She has extensive experience in all stages of litigation from inception through trial in both state and federal court. Katherine also has a strong appellate practice.
Katherine works closely with her clients and experts developing strategies for each unique matter up front and throughout the case in an effort to reach the best possible result. In doing so, she has efficiently and successfully mediated dozens of matters with exceptional results. She has further achieved outright defense verdicts and complete dismissal of matters following jury trials and successful motions for summary judgment for insurers facing significant financial exposure.
Given her breadth of knowledge and experience, she has also been requested as a guest speaker to companies to assist with best practices and advising on changes in the law. Katherine has been recognized by Colorado Super Lawyers as a Rising Star and by The Best Lawyers in America in the areas of Insurance Law and Insurance Litigation.
