Biography

Lindsey M. Romano is Assistant Managing Partner of the firm’s San Francisco and Oakland offices and serves as Co-Chair of the firm’s Health Care practice group.

Lindsey’s health care practice focuses on representing nationwide industry health care clients who serve the most vulnerable patient populations. Lindsey’s expertise is defending her clients in high exposure, complex claims. She has defended claims ranging from allegations of wrongful death, sexual and physical abuse, and catastrophic injury.

Lindsey’s practice areas also include drug and medical device defense, medical and dental malpractice, as well as defending long term care and acute health care facilities. Lindsey also has experience in high stakes commercial litigation.

Before relocating to the Bay Area, Lindsey was a partner in both the Tampa and Pensacola offices of her prior law firm. Lindsey actively litigates major cases in California, Florida, and throughout the United States in both federal and state courts.

In addition to litigating a claim from its onset through trial, Lindsey provides full range of services to her clients. Such services include developing a strategic, multi-pronged, coordinated defense that assists clients in navigating health care board actions, regulatory or governmental investigatory issues, as well as public relations and media strategy to control the narrative of a case in the public sphere.

Lindsey’s philosophy combines her passion for providing a creative, well rounded, and humanistic approach to sensitive claims and her talent for value-driven results. Her proven outcomes and tactical strategies make her a true business partner and fierce advocate for her clients. Whether the goal of a case is to resolve the claim or trying the case to a defense verdict, Lindsey will collaborate with you on developing and executing a plan to effectively and efficiently litigate the claim to resolution.When she is not busy delivering exceptional results to her clients, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two small children, watching football,

indoor cycling and practicing yoga, and creating content for her lifestyle blog. Lindsey is a proud military spouse, supporting her husband who is a helicopter rescue swimmer in the U.S. Coast Guard. She is deeply devoted to veteran’s causes and supporting autism impacted military families.
