Mana Koleini is a Partner in the San Francisco office of GRSM and is a member of the Labor and Employment Law practice groups. She has experience defending employers in individual and multi-plaintiff lawsuits and pre-litigation claims for workplace discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination. Mana also has experience defending employers in wage and hour and PAGA actions. Mana handles cases in state and federal court, as well as arbitration disputes and matters before administrative agencies.
Mana is known for her calm but aggressive approach, accurate evaluation of cases, early case resolution strategies, and working with employers to make business-savvy decisions with respect to approaching litigation–whether that means taking the case to trial or settling early on.
Further, Mana provides preventative counseling to employers regarding all employment practices, including drafting and auditing employee handbooks, preparing employment and severance agreements, conducting workplace investigations, and evaluating termination decisions.
Prior to practicing employment law, Mana defended mainly general liability cases, and she continues that work in her current practice. Her diverse client list includes everyone from individual policy holders to Fortune 500 companies. She has obtained hundreds of favorable resolutions through summary judgment or settlement. Mana is fluent in Spanish, French, and Farsi and incorporates her diverse background when conducting investigations, dealing with opposing counsel, and building relationships with clients.
