Mark Crapo is a partner in the Denver and St. Louis offices of GRSM and his practice focuses on product liability, business litigation, intellectual property, and toxic tort and environmental litigation.
Mark serves clients in product and premises liability disputes, transportation and FELA litigation, and commercial litigation in state and federal courts across the country. He has experience in all phases of litigation, including case initiation, fact and expert depositions, mediation, trial, post-trial, and appeal. Mark has drafted multiple successful motions in complex litigation in each of the pre-trial, trial, post-trial, and appellate stages.
Mark’s intellectual property practice includes development and execution of effective copyright protection and enforcement strategies in film, music, and other media. His background includes negotiation and resolution of claims of copyright infringement, protection of privacy and marketing rights, domestic and international copyright license agreements, and third-party distribution agreements, and with respect to various media, including film, soundtracks, and other audio recordings. He provides counsel to film producers, musicians, and other creatives.
While in law school, Mark interned with the St. Louis County Public Defender, mediated disputes with the Better Business Bureau, and served as a research assistant for the Special Adviser on Crimes Against Humanity to the International Criminal Court Prosecutor.
