MaryAllison is an Associate in GRSM’s Chicago office and her practice focuses on employment law and commercial litigation. Prior to joining GRSM, MaryAllison practiced at another Chicago/suburban law firm in primarily general commercial and business litigation, as well as employment litigation and counseling. She has represented clients throughout all stages of litigation, gaining valuable courtroom experience while doing so. 

MaryAllison earned her J.D., cum laude, from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign. During her time in law school, she was involved in various activities and societies, most notably, a member and Notes Editor on the Elder Law Journal, a Student Admissions Ambassador for the College of Law, a Judicial Extern for the Honorable Judge Mark Lopez (ret.), a research assistant for Professor Pia Hunter, and participant in the Medical Legal Partnership Clinic, a partnership between Land of Lincoln Legal Aid and Carle Foundation Hospital. In MaryAllison’s final semester of law school, she was honored as an Harno Scholar, as well as received a CALI Award in her Negotiation Skills and Strategies course. She graduated with a Pro Bono Notation, denoting 60 or more hours of Pro Bono work completed while in law school. 

MaryAllison also completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Illinois, graduating with dual degrees in English and Communication.
