Matthew R. Mattie is an Associate in the Boston office of GRSM. He is a member of the Construction practice group, representing both design professionals and contractors in all aspects of litigation. In addition to his construction practice, Matthew also has experience representing clients in a wide range of complex commercial litigation in federal and state courts, including the varied disciplines of intellectual property, business law, professional liability, and employment law.

Prior to joining GRSM, he worked at a national litigation firm in Boston, Massachusetts, representing business corporations of all types, including general contractors, subcontractors, architects, engineers, and suppliers. He regularly handled construction defect cases and tort claims arising out of construction site accidents.

Matthew graduated cum laude from Suffolk University Law School, where he served as a Chief Note Editor for the Journal of High Technology Law. He was also a member of the National Tax Moot Court Team and Phi Delta Phi International Legal Honor Society.

Prior to attending law school, he graduated cum laude from Providence College, where he obtained a degree in Finance.
