Matthew S. Vesterdahl is Senior Counsel in the Sacramento office of GRSM and is a multi-jurisdictional litigator and counselor. His practice primarily focuses on employment and commercial litigation.

Mr. Vesterdahl represents employers in employment and traditional labor law matters, including discrimination and sexual harassment, wrongful discharge, retaliation, workers’ compensation, trade secrets, unfair competition, and wage and hour violations.  Mr. Vesterdahl also handles complex business litigation and commercial matters dealing with fraud-based claims, contract-based disputes, unfair competition claims, breach of non-disclosure and non-competition agreements.  He has also successfully handled numerous arbitrations, represented clients at mediation, and handled appellate issues.

In his spare time, Mr. Vesterdahl enjoys spending time with his family, hiking and outdoor activities, reading historical fiction novels, and traveling.
