N. Louise Ellingsworth is Of Counsel in the firm’s Missoula office. Prior to joining GRSM, she practiced law for almost 30 years in the Kansas City office of a major international law firm headquartered in St. Louis. She began her law career with Holland & Knight in Lakeland, Florida. Louise’s experience includes complex and commercial litigation, specializing in class action defense in both state and federal courts, and at both the trial court and appellate levels.

For approximately 15 years, she was first-chair national trial counsel for a major tax preparation Fortune 500 company based in Kansas City which successfully faced an onslaught of “bet the company” class actions in the 1990s/2000s pertaining to its refund anticipation loan product. As a result, Louise is counsel of record in over 35 published opinions.
