Nick is an Associate Attorney in the Charleston office of GRSM and is a member of the Appellate and Commercial Litigation practice groups.
Nick was raised in Charleston. He attended Clemson and Georgetown Universities for undergrad, ultimately receiving his B.A. in Political Science and Psychology (Double Major) from Clemson. Nick returned to Charleston for law school and business school, enrolling in the J.D./M.B.A. dual degree program at the Charleston School of Law and the College of Charleston.
Nick is an expert legal writer and specializes in brief writing. His writing expertise stems from extensive experience across multiple levels of both the state and federal judiciaries. Nick began his career at the state level as a Staff Attorney for the Supreme Court of South Carolina. Subsequently, Nick jumped to the federal level and worked as a Staff and Court Attorney for the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. In his most recent judicial role, Nick served as a Federal Law Clerk at the United States District Court for the District of South Carolina.
In addition to his judiciary roles, Nick taught legal writing as an adjunct professor at the Charleston School of Law. His passion for writing is a focus of his practice, and he continues to leverage his broad experience to deliver exceptional written advocacy for his clients.
Outside the office, Nick can usually be found near a body of water or in his garage attempting to complete a DIY house project. Some of his hobbies include writing (he wrote freelance comedy articles online in another life), photography and videography, traveling, playing with his 110 lb. chocolate lab/bloodhound mix, physical fitness, and cheering on his Clemson Tigers.
