Stephanie Cobau is Senior Counsel in the Commercial Litigation and Intellectual Property practice groups of GRSM. She has experience in a range of complex litigation matters at both the state and federal level. Stephanie has experience representing companies, ranging in size from Fortune 500 corporations to start-ups, governmental entities, and individuals. She has represented clients in the real estate, banking, technology, and medical device sectors in litigation that included allegations of infringement, misappropriation of trade secrets, unfair competition, breach of fiduciary duty, and tortious interference.
Stephanie received her J.D. from the University of California Berkeley School of Law (Boalt Hall). While in law school, she was a Publishing Editor for the California Law Review. Stephanie externed for Honorable Judge Hersher of the Sacramento Superior Court of California, the Office of the San Francisco City Attorney, and the United States Attorney’s Office. Prior to joining GRSM, Stephanie practiced at a boutique law firm in San Francisco that specializes in commercial and intellectual property litigation.
She also co-authored an amicus curiae brief in a pro bono matter on behalf of underrepresented minority neighborhoods in a case concerning public health and environmental safety.
