Taylor Matsumoto focuses his practice on defending businesses in complex matters in the areas of environmental/toxic tort and products liability litigation. Taylor’s experience further includes advocating for clients in the areas of construction law, general tort liability, and rail transportation.
Prior to becoming a civil litigator, Taylor served as a line prosecutor for the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office and the Cities of Long Beach and Los Angeles. As a prosecutor, he handled a wide array of criminal cases from initial filing through verdict and zealously advocated on behalf of victims of violent crimes. With each case, Taylor draws from his unique and extensive experience in both civil and criminal litigation to identify and execute strategies to achieve the most favorable results for his clients at all stages of litigation.
