Tyrik Jiang is an Associate in the firm’s New York Commercial Litigation, Technology Litigation, Cyber, Privacy & Data Security, and Professional Liability practice groups. He currently represents clients in wire-fraud, data breach, professional liability, and commercial matters. 

He began his career representing Fortune 500 manufacturers in toxic tort and products liability cases in New York State. Later, Tyrik was an associate at a national AM 200 insurance defense firm where he defended Fortune 500 businesses, construction managers, owners, developers, general contractors, and trade contractors in property damage, personal injury, general liability and casualty claims involving property damage, NY Labor Law construction accidents, motor vehicle accidents, toxic torts, and general premises liability.

He previously externed with Hon. Chelsey M. Vascura of the U.S. District Court, Southern District of Ohio and Hon. Amy Salerno of the Franklin County, Ohio, Municipal Court.

Tyrik is experienced with defending cases from inception to trial. This includes pleadings, depositions, motion practice, settlement, mediation, and trial preparation. 

  • Obtained a summary judgment dismissal on behalf of client, a large tour bus company, in a complex motor vehicle accident lawsuit involving 11 vehicles and 15 defendants venued in NYS Bronx County.
  • Obtained a pre-answer dismissal on behalf of client, a large garage door manufacturer, in a lawsuit where Plaintiff alleges causes of action sounding in breach of contract and deceptive trade practices for being sold a defective product.
