Best Practices from "Peak Performing Organizations": National University's Center for Organizational Excellence conducts an annual evaluation of companies and organizations of all sizes, including for-profit, nonprofit, public and private, to identify entities that "have the ability to sustain long-term performance that maximizes the potential of the individuals in the company as well as the overall organization." According to Thomas M. Green, Ph.D., Provost of National University and creator of the Peak Performance program, "it is more important than ever to...showcase the best among us and learn from their successful practices and policies."
Selecting Gordon & Rees: Gordon & Rees was selected from among 60 nominees and was the only law firm to receive a Peak Performance award. The criteria for evaluation were:
- Sustainability
- Clear, demonstrable vision, mission, purpose, and/or values
- Commitment to customers
- Commitment to employees
- Top-line profitability
