The national law firm of Gordon & Rees continues to expand its Denver office with the addition of Associate Heather Gwinn. Ms. Gwinn is a member of the Employment and Professional Liability practice groups.
Ms. Gwinn has comprehensive experience representing management in businesses of all sizes, including Fortune 500 and Fortune 1000 companies, in all aspects of labor and employment litigation, including drafting pleadings, briefs, and motions, as well as arguing motions before state and federal courts. Ms. Gwinn also advises clients on numerous labor and employment issues, including employment policies, compliance with wage-and-hour laws, and defending and prosecuting breach of contract and restrictive covenant claims.
She has advised on mediation and settlement offers, and has served as chair and co-chair in multiple litigation matters, including defending clients against Florida Civil Rights Act, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Americans with Disabilities Act, Age Discrimination in Employment Act, and Fair Labor Standards Act claims. She has extensive experience drafting briefs in support of Motions for Summary Judgment, Motions to Dismiss, Motions to Compel, and Motions In Limine, and settlement agreements.
She earned her J.D. from University of Denver Sturm College of Law and B.A. in Psychology from Wittenberg University.
