Ryan G. Foltz has joined the Seattle office as a partner and member of the Construction practice group. His practice focuses on representing owners, developers, general contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and product manufacturers in all phases of private and public construction disputes. He regulary represents clients in multi-party litigation and has handled cases involving multi-family, single-family, commercial, and public projects.
Mr. Foltz's construction practice includes the representation of architects and engineers against professional liability claims. He also advises clients regarding the evaluation and negotiation of contracts, mechanics' and materialmen's liens, landlord-tenant disputes, commercial real estate disputes, distressed properties, bid disputes, safety programs, and risk management.
His broad litigation experience includes the defense of corporations and individuals in a wide range of complex commercial litigation, general liability, and personal injury lawsuits. Additionally, he represents and advises restaurants and bars in injury cases and general liability matters. Mr. Foltz's insurance background includes coverage litigation, professional liability defense, and bad faith insurance claims.
He earned his Juris Doctorate, cum laude, from Seattle University School of Law, and his B.A., cum laude, from University of Washington. He has been recognized as a Rising Star by Washington Law & Politics in 2005, 2006, 2009 and 2010.
