On September 9, the Santa Clara Valley Chapter of the Risk and Insurance Management Society is providing a luncheon presentation on the risks of social networking as they relate to employees' use of YouTube, Facebook, Twitter and various blogs.
San Francisco associate Marie Trimble will be a panelist at the program, along with Chris Kelly, the former Chief Privacy Officer for Facebook, Beth Baldwin, Director of Human Resources at Burr Pilger Mayer, LLP, and Alex Tokar from Marsh & McLennan Companies. The panelists will discuss the issues, legal precedents, and best practices for protecting a company against the potential liabilities presented by social networking.
