The September 28 issue of DRI's weekly newsletter, The Voice, recognized DRI member Gery Zacher in the defense victory obtained on behalf of Cooper Industries in the long-running litigation of Hinds Investments, L.P., et al. v. Cooper Industries.
This most recent victory marks the seventh claim successfully adjudicated in Cooper's favor. In this victory, Gery, Kristin Reyna and Matthew Nugent filed motions on behalf of Cooper for summary judgment and adjudication against the plaintiffs based both on the statute of limitations and as to plaintiffs' claim against it under the HSAA (California Superfund) on the merits.
