Douglas Motzenbecker, an employment attorney with extensive first chair trial and appellate experience defending management in employment discrimination cases has joined the Florham Park office of Gordon & Rees as a partner. Mr. Motzenbecker also counsels employers on compliance with Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the New Jersey Law Against Discrimination, the Family and Medical Leave Act, ERISA, and other employee rights matters.
Mr. Motzenbecker also has experience with professional liability litigation including the defense of ERISA fiduciary, director and officer, insurance broker/agent, attorney, municipal, school board, and other professional liability matters.
Additionally, Mr. Motzenbecker is an Associate Editor of Litigation News, a publication of the American Bar Association's Section of Litigation. A graduate of Muhlenberg College, Mr. Motzenbecker earned his juris doctorate from Vermont Law School. He is admitted in New Jersey, New York and the District of Columbia, and is rated AV® Preeminent™ by Martindale-Hubbell.
