Maria Solomon-Williams has joined the San Diego office as Senior Counsel. She is a member of the Environmental/Toxic Tort and Employment Law practice groups. Ms. Solomon-Williams' experience includes managing benzene and asbestos defense litigation involving Fortune 500 corporate clients. She has handled all aspects of litigation including drafting answers, demurrers, dispositive motions and cross complaints; drafting and responding to discovery; taking and defending depositions; retaining experts; and drafting and arguing motions in state and federal court. Ms. Solomon-Williams also has experience in all components of the defense of Employment Law matters, including the administrative charge phase, preparing answers, preparing dispositive motions, preparing and responding to discovery, document management and budget preparation.
Ms. Solomon-Williams earned her J.D. from the University of California – Hastings College of the Law, her M.A. in International Development from American University and her B.S. in International Relations and Political Science from the University of the Pacific.
