Atlanta office partner Donald Woodard was interviewed by Rolling Out Magazine to share his thoughts on key issues up-and-coming entertainers need to consider as their careers advance.
In the article, entitled "Leading Entertainment Lawyer Donald Woodard Offers Advice to New Artists," Mr. Woodard covers topics such as how to select an entertainment lawyer, the different ways entertainment clients interact with their lawyers, and how to remedy the natural conflict of interests between an entertainer and manager. Donald Woodard is a partner in the firm's Sports, Media & Entertainment practice and represents individual athletes, musicians, and entertainers. His clients include some of the most innovative and entrepreneurial entertainers in the industry today. A frequent lecturer and active member in the entertainment industry, Mr. Woodard was recently appointed to the board of the Black Women Film Network, which was founded to increase the numbers of women of all cultures in the film industry and related areas.
