Gordon & Rees's Insurance Group has grown with the addition of eight new attorneys who have joined the Chicago office of Gordon & Rees from the Clausen Miller law firm.
The group, led by partners Randall Marmor and Scott Schmookler, includes Lee Ann Galowich, Alex Mahler, Regina Ripley, Ellen Van Vechten, and Craig Jacobson, who begins on February 7. The move was announced jointly by Gordon & Rees’s firmwide managing partner, Dion Cominos, and Hayes Ryan, managing partner of the Chicago office.
The new group of attorneys focuses on insurance coverage advice and litigation, with a specific focus on disputes involving fidelity and surety bonds, directors and officers liability, and professional liability. In addition to defending dozens of bad faith cases in courts throughout the Midwest, the group has experience on matters throughout the United States in its capacity as national coverage and monitoring counsel for certain London market insurers, companies and sureties.
