In the most recent issue of California Lawyer magazine, Gordon & Rees was named as one of the state's largest and fastest growing law firms. The firm was ranked in the magazine's annual "California 50" survey as the #11th largest firm in California, climbing up from 14th last year.
Gordon & Rees was also mentioned as one of only three firms in the survey to grow headcount by more than 12% in the past year. This exceptional growth ran counter to the "conservative hiring trend" that led more than half of the law firms on the California 50 list to reduce their headcount.
The firm's growth in California reflects its national expansion, which is highlighted by this year's addition of five new offices in Washington, D.C.; Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; St. Louis, Missouri; Baltimore, Maryland; and Tysons Corner, Virginia.
