On April 26, 2012, the Orange County Asian Bar Association ("OCAABA") hosted a crowd of approximately 300 members, supporters and judicial officers at its 19th Annual Installation Dinner held at the Hilton Irvine. The keynote speech was delivered by California Supreme Court Justice Goodwin Liu. In recognition of Orange County partner Patricia Lee-Guley's installation as the 2012-2013 President-Elect, Gordon & Rees LLP was a Silver Sponsor and Patricia's law school, Western State University, was a Gold sponsor. Patricia will be installed as President in 2013 as OCAABA celebrates it's 20th birthday.
Additionally, On March 15, 2012, Patricia Lee-Gulley moderated OCAABA's MCLE program with the Orange County Korean American Bar Association (OCKABA) and Orange County Women Lawyers Association (OCWLA) entitled "Chasing the Elusive Work/Life Balance" featuring panelists Hon. Holly Fujie (Los Angeles Superior Court), Hon. Richard Lee (Orange County Superior Court), Kia Senior Corporate Counsel Susan Myers, and Knobbe Martens Partner Tirzah Abe Lowe. The evening program was held at Kia Motors USA.
