Gordon & Rees has been named 2013 Franchising Law Firm of the Year in New York by Corporate INTL. The magazine’s annual Legal Awards recognize firms in the United States and around the world that have shown excellence and service over the past 12 months.
Winners are selected by an independent awards panel that researches firms’ service range, business type, geographical locations, business operations, and experience. The panel is made up of business leaders, in-house counsel and attorneys in private practice.
Gordon & Rees’s national Franchise Law Practice Group, co-chaired by partners Ronald A. Giller and Calvin E. Davis, consists of more than 40 lawyers located throughout the country who handle a comprehensive range of businesses involved in franchising. The team, which includes Long Island partners Harold L. Kestenbaum and Roger M. Quinland, has extensive experience providing litigation and transactional services in the franchise and distribution law field. The Franchise Law Practice Group assists franchisors, licensors, and suppliers in relationships that support national and international franchising and provides guidance for all aspects of franchise businesses.
