On May 6, Gordon & Rees was a proud co-sponsor of the Center for Legal Inclusiveness's Seventh Annual Legal Inclusiveness & Diversity Summit in Denver. Gordon & Rees sponsored the Women Lawyers Workshop titled “Do Women Lawyers Pull Up the Ladder? Moving From Sabotage to Support of Other Women.”
Other summit workshops included “The Next Big Boom: Diversity in a Changing Legal Market”; “What Lawyers Can Learn From Accountants About Diversity and Inclusiveness”; and “The Rainmaking X Factor: What It Is and How to Teach It”; and "The General Counsel Forum."
Gordon & Rees has served as a consistent sponsor of the Center for Legal Inclusiveness (CLI), a nonprofit organization based in Denver. CLI is dedicated to advancing diversity in the legal profession by educating and supporting private and public sector legal organizations in their own individual campaigns to create cultures of inclusion.
Gordon & Rees’s involvement in CLI is led by Franz Hardy, a Partner in the Denver office and a member of the Board of Directors of CLI. Franz is also Chair of the firm’s national Diversity Committee, as well as immediate-past president of the Asian Pacific American Bar Association of Colorado.
