Gordon & Rees was a finalist for the Minority Corporate Counsel Association’s 2013 Thomas L. Sager Award for the West Region, which recognizes a firm's commitment to the hiring, retention, and promotion of diverse attorneys.
Gordon & Rees partners Franz Hardy of Denver, Kristin Reyna of San Diego, and Andrew Wallace of Dallas attended the March 5 event held at the Hard Rock Hotel in San Diego.

Reed Smith won this year’s Sager Award for the West Region and Gordon & Rees and DLA Piper were finalists. The West region includes Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Washington and Wyoming.
Last year, The American Lawyer magazine honored Gordon & Rees as one of the Top Firms for Diversity. Gordon & Rees also is ranked at No. 25 on the Minority Law Journal’s 2012 Diversity Scorecard.
