San Diego partner Jeffrey D. Cawdrey has been honored as a 2013 BTI Client Service All-Star in recognition of his client service excellence and dedication.
The 2013 BTI Client Service All-Stars report acknowledges 307 attorneys nationwide who deliver the highest levels of client service. The prestigious list -- published last month by the BTI Consulting Group – is based solely on nominations from corporate counsel who provide direct client feedback. BTI interviewed more than 240 corporate counsel from large and Fortune 1,000 companies about the nominees’ superior client relationships.
Cawdrey, who was nominated by a high-profile health care organization, is the national co-chair of Gordon & Rees’s Bankruptcy, Restructuring & Creditors' Rights Practice Group, and a member of the Commercial Litigation Practice Group. He has extensive experience in business and bankruptcy law and litigation, including business reorganization and liquidation. He represents individual and institutional creditors; trustees, receivers and committees; and individual, corporate, and partnership debtors, both in and outside of bankruptcy court. Mr. Cawdrey regularly litigates complex commercial and business disputes in state and federal courts and in alternative dispute forums.
He is a court-appointed mediator for the U.S. Bankruptcy Court, Southern District of California, a member of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court's local rules revision committee, and an executive member of the Court's C.A.R.E. program, which provides outreach education to high school students on financial literacy.
Mr. Cawdrey is a longtime director and is the current president of the governing board of directors of the San Diego Law Library. He has been rated by his peers as AV Preeminent - the highest Peer Review Rating available from LexisNexis Martindale-Hubbell - and has been recognized in San Diego Magazine’s 2013 list of Top Lawyers.
