The Legal Intelligencer recently recognized the Pittsburgh office of Gordon & Rees on its list of 2012’s top lateral moves.
TLI, Pennsylvania’s premier legal journal, cites the addition of Pittsburgh office managing partner S. Manoj Jegasothy, partners John G. Ebken, Marc T. Thirkell and Jeffrey R. Wilson, senior counsel William E. Blick and David J. Morgan, and associate Joshua S. Marks, as one of last year’s top 10 groups of lateral hires. The team left Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney last March to launch Gordon & Rees’s new Steel City office.
“In the year since we opened, the Pittsburgh office has grown to 13 lawyers, and we plan to continue to expand,” Jegasothy says. “The move has been incredibly positive for us and we appreciate the platform and the entrepreneurial spirit we found at Gordon & Rees.”
Pittsburgh marked the firm’s 24th office, one of seven Gordon & Rees opened in 2012. With the opening of the Philadelphia office last month, Gordon & Rees now has two Pennsylvania offices.
