The Federal Lawyer published an article co-authored by Gordon & Rees Atlanta associate Lauren Bellamy in its June 2013 edition. In the article, titled “Mass Toxic Tort Cases,” Bellamy discusses the potentially high costs involved in mass tort litigation and the crippling effects it could have on companies of all sizes.
In the article, Bellamy explains how expanding due diligence efforts, sharpening internal business processes and staying current on key regulatory tort reform developments can reduce the threat of embroilment in expensive mass tort litigation. She also provides guidance on developing a strategic plan when litigation is unavoidable.
The Federal Lawyer is a publication of the Federal Bar Association.
Bellamy is experienced in handling contracts and business torts, telecommunications litigation, and consumer fraud actions. She has represented clients in multimillion-dollar contract disputes, investigations, and arbitrations.
