On October 7, 2015, partner Jeff Lilly will attend an E-Discovery "Boot Camp" in Washington D.C. that he helped organize as chair of a multi-organizational task force formed to support appropriate application and interpretation of the new federal e-discovery rules, poised to go into effect in December 2015.
The boot camp is planned in partnership with Lawyers for Civil Justice (LCJ) and will consist of attendees from IADC, FDCC, DRI and ADTA. The mission of this meeting is to prepare all attendees to give their own presentations about the rule amendments to members of their defense bar organizations, local bar associations, law firms or other key groups of practitioners. LCJ’s panel will share their expertise gained from over five years of interacting closely with the Civil Rules Committee during the drafting, editing and passage of the amendments.
Lilly is co-chair of the firm’s e-discovery practice group and a frequent author on e-discovery issues.
