Gordon & Rees continues to see its ranks swell just two months into 2016. Amid shrinking law firms and smaller law firms being absorbed by larger ones, Gordon & Rees has ushered in the New Year with 21 new attorneys, four of whom are partners, hired since Jan. 1, 2016.
Not surprisingly, this growth has caught the attention of those outside the firm. Since its last report in October 2015 recognizing Gordon & Rees among the fastest growing law firms among the AmLaw 200, The American Lawyer has once more tipped its hat to Gordon & Rees, listing the firm as having one of the largest positive percent changes in lawyers. What sets Gordon & Rees’s growth apart from other firms with similar growth numbers is that this growth is purely organic in nature and has not resulted from a merger or the absorbing of another firm.
