Law360 has published its findings following a survey of the growth of the industry’s top 400 law firms. While the rest of the Law360 400 grew by an average of 1.6 percent, a few select firms—Gordon & Rees among them—stood out above the rest with growth exceeding 10 percent.
Specifically, the survey found that Gordon & Rees’s lawyer headcount has grown by more than 12 percent over the past two years, and, while other law firms have grown by merging with or absorbing other firms, Gordon & Rees has grown in a more focused and organic fashion, by working with its existing partners to recruit attractive lateral prospects.
