Brenda K. Radmacher has joined Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani as a partner in the firm's Los Angeles office. She is a member of the firm's Construction practice group and one of the lead contacts for Construction matters in the Los Angeles office.

Brenda Radmacher specializes in construction, real estate, and employment litigation, regularly counseling general contractors, construction managers, design professionals, contractors, and owners on contract negotiations, risk management and disputes. Her practice emphasizes resolving complex construction disputes through negotiation, mediation, and, when necessary, arbitration and litigation, on projects in California, nationwide, and internationally. She frequently addresses claims involving breach of contract, construction and design defects, liens, delays and impacts, construction defects, bonds and insurance issues (including among others, general liability, builder’s risk, professional liability and subcontractor default insurance), and represents many of the nation’s largest contractors and developers in the commercial, multifamily, and residential markets. She has substantial experience in building envelope, water infiltration and mold-related claims, having counseled clients with respect to hundreds of such matters. She has defended all types of cases including mass actions and class action claims, defending residential homebuilders, commercial contractors, and design professionals.
In her employment practice, Radmacher handles sensitive discrimination, harassment, and assault claims for her clients, including complex franchise/corporations issues. She frequently litigates disputed claims under the ADA, Title VII, FDCPA, as well as state and local laws, including California's Proposition 65.
Radmacher also handles personal injury actions relating to construction site accidents, mold exposure and toxic tort claims, as well as regularly advising multinational and Fortune 500 clients on compliance with California's Proposition 65 and related regulations. She also has expertise in developing risk management protocols for her clients in both the construction, regulatory, and employment areas.
Radmacher is a skilled litigator and had secured multiple victories for her clients early in the litigation through aggressive law and motion practice, effective negotiation, and early dispute resolution techniques. She also has served as a private and court-appointed mediator.
In 2017, Racmacher was named to the Top 50 Most Influential Women Lawyers List by the Los Angeles Business Journal. She was selected as the CLM Outside Counsel Professional of the Year, named to Pasadena's Top Attorney list (four consecutive years 2013-17) and selected for inclusion in Martindale-Hubbell, Bar Register of Preeminent Women Lawyers.
Radmacher is a board member of the USC Alumni Real Estate Network and the West Coast Lumber & Building Material Association. She is Co-Chair of the Product Liability Committee for the Claims & Management Alliance. She serves as an Advisory Board Member for Claims & Litigation Management Alliance's Wiki Claims Handling Resource Guide and the Claims Handling Manual. She is also a member of the Building Industry Association's National Association of Homebuilders.
Radmacher is admitted to practice in California and Arizona. She earned her law degree and master's degree from the University of Southern California. She received her bachelor's degree from Baylor University.
