Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani Philadelphia Partner James Robinson was recently featured in the "Volunteer Highlight" section of the Support Center for Child Advocates (Child Advocates) newsletter. In his spare time, Robinson dedicates his legal knowledge and resources to helping "at risk" children in Philadelphia who receive legal and social service advocacy from Child Advocates.
In the article, Robinson shared two of his most rewarding experiences representing children facing challenging circumstances. Both cases illustrate the vital role volunteer attorneys play in protecting these children and in creating a new path toward a better future.
Robinson believes that despite the horrific beginning that so many of the children he has represented have endured, they all deserve a "do-over." He regards his work with Child Advocates as some of the most important legal work he does. In addition to being a volunteer attorney, Robinson also serves as a member of the Child Advocates Volunteer Committee and is a Child Advocates Board Member.
