Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani welcomes Lara S. Garner as partner in the firm's San Diego office. Garner joins the firm's Intellectual Property practice group. Garner was previously with Troutman Sanders in San Diego.

Garner's practice focuses on intellectual property, commercial litigation, and client counseling. She is a trial attorney experienced in all phases of litigation. In her practice, Garner has handled cases involving copyrights, trade secrets, and patents in diverse technologies including e-commerce, audio and video compression, graphical user interfaces, database and search technologies, medical and mechanical devices, and transformers. Garner has previous technical experience as a Mechanical Designer with Electro Scientific Industries, Inc. and Mechanical Design Drafter with Dynamotion Corporation.
Garner is admitted to practice in California. She earned her law degree from Harvard Law School and her bachelor's degree from the University of California, Berkeley.
