The American Bar Association ("ABA") has named Phoenix attorney Chloe Woods to the 2020 On the Rise - Top 40 Young Lawyers Award. Every year, the American Bar Association recognizes a select group of ABA young lawyer members who exemplify a broad range of high achievement, innovation, vision, leadership, and legal and community service.
Woods is a recent and noteworthy addition to the Phoenix office of Gordon & Rees, in the Employment, Bankruptcy, and Commercial Litigation groups. Recognized within the profession, Woods was recently awarded the National Bar Association 40 Under 40, the Missouri Lawyers Association Leader of Tomorrow Award, and named a Fellow of the American Bar Association, an honor only bestowed on 1% of the lawyers in any jurisdiction.
She serves as National Vice Chair and Chief Operating Officer of The National Bar Association Young Lawyers Division. Additionally, she serves as Treasurer of the State Bar of Arizona Young Lawyers Division, Co-Chair of the ABA Minorities in the Profession Committee (MIPC), the Liaison to the Standing Committee on Bar Activities and Services, a Fellow of the Diverse Leaders Academy, and was presidentially appointed to the Commission on Immigration Advisory Board.
