Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani New York Partner, Claudia Costa, will be a featured panelist at the Society of Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriters (CPCU) Reinsurance Symposium March 12 and 13 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Costa will join two other panelists in a moderated discussion on active shooters including topics such as potential liability, insurance, lawsuits, and the state of law.
Costa will be speaking about the numerous potential claims that have been made against businesses and employers following an active shooter event. Such claims may include claims of negligent hiring and retention, hostile work environment, and violations of OSHA.
