The Connecticut Law Tribune has honored Cullen Guilmartin, Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani Connecticut partner, with their “Unsung Hero” award for extensive pro bono work on behalf of military veterans and families. This award recognizes attorneys who have gone unnoticed for, or worked behind the scenes on particularly important work.
The Connecticut Legal Awards 2020 will honor attorneys and judges who have made a remarkable difference in the legal profession in Connecticut - whether in shaping the law, achieving outsized results for their clients, being an outstanding jurist or assisting those in need of legal services. The recognitions will be officially awarded in a virtual ceremony September 30, 2020.
Guilmartin, who is admitted in Connecticut, New York and Rhode Island, handles a wide range of complex litigation matters with a focus on products liability and environmental, toxic tort, consumer fraud, construction and employment claims.
He also received The Best Lawyers in America® "Lawyer of the Year" distinction in Insurance Law for this year.
